It’s impossible not to notice the front of the Méditerranée and its pretty blue storefront. Ideally located opposite the Odeon Theatre, the hotel opened in 1942, and has made Mediterranean cuisine its specialty. Shellfish and fish compete for the spotlight and are at the heart of creative dishes with emphases on taste and freshness. We can’t decide whether to recommend the Royal Bream lacquered with honey or opt for the famous bouillabaisse which is comparable to those made in Marseille. With a kitchen rich in seafood, the Mediterranean is the perfect place to enjoy delicious dishes in a sophisticated and quiet atmosphere. The salons of the establishment also welcome the annual award of the Prix Médicis and is the working lunch place for many celebrities such as Alain Souchon or Steven Spielberg.
