In just a few years, KB Cafeshop’s reputation and popularity have spread. This is one of the best places in town to get a quality cup of coffee (provided by the in house roaster Café Lomi). The owner, Nicolas Piégay, learned the roasting business in Australia, and was inspired by “American” cafes while traveling in North America.
Although small, this lovely coffee shop has a very friendly and professional staff, great music and a large terrace at the corner of Rue des Martyrs and Avenue de Trudaine. The chef, Julie, offers a selection of fresh and organic foods including sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, scones, cakes and also fruit and freshly made smoothies. We suggest that you try their house hot chocolate which is best enjoyed during the colder months. The prices are reasonable: daily menu at € 12 (a choice of a sandwich, a juice, and a dessert), breakfast menu at € 12, brunch menu €25, homemade pastries are 3-4 € and fruit juice € 5.50
