Nestled in the heart of the 6th district, it is not uncommon to see a queue forming before the Relais de l’Entrecote. Don’t walk away! if you want to experience a 100% Parisian meal, it’s worth the wait. The property, which has other satelite restaurants in different arrondissements, has been made famous with its one item menu. Here it is all about the meat. Noon and night, the team only serves walnut salad, beef tenderloin topped with a delicious secret sauce and home fries for a single price (€ 26.50). All of this is accompanied by a glass of organic wine. The restaurant also offers a lovely dessert menu which stars none other than the Strawberry Tulip or the not-to-be-missed profiteroles. A cozy room made of wood and mirrors, a menu that has been proven to satisfy and friendly service make a meal at Relais de l’Entrecote traditionally french. Namely also: the other Relais de l’Entrecote (the same restaurant) exist in Montparnasse (6th) in the 8th and the “Relais de Venise” (same family) in the 17th district of Paris – this is the restaurant that inspired the famous single item menu of Relais de l’Entrecote (see our article “Relais de Venise”).
