Fragonard

196 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007
Musée du Parfum - 9 Rue Scribe, 75009 Paris

For over a century, Fragonard earned its reputation among perfumers recognized worldwide. Created by Eugene Fuchs in 1926, the perfume was the first to sell its products directly from the manufacturer to the consumer. A century later, the brand needs no introduction, and has taken over Paris. In the capital, it has no fewer than 8 shops bringing the Provençal art of living to the city of light, whether that is through its perfumes or via the collections of linen and clothes. On Rue Scribe, the perfume museum awaits visitors in a mansion in the style of Napoleon III. The parquet, moldings and roman stucco are a choice setting for the collection of perfumery objects from antiquity to the twentieth century. A few steps away, on Boulevard des Capucines, opposite the Olympia lies a miniature factory. Highlighted here are the perfume extraction techniques from the nineteenth century as well as a selection of the finest bottles of brand perfumes. It is an unforgettable dive into the world of perfumes and scents of Provence.
