Caffé Stern

47 passage des panoramas, 47 Galerie des Variétés, 75002 Paris

A very old printing shop, named a historical monument and revisited in the midst of the Café Venetian hype in one of the most beautiful parts of the capital, is the challenge of Café Stern. From the entrance the tone is set by two stuffed and jeweled coyotes! It’s not typical, but so chic ! You can see there the signature of the famous designer, Philippe Starck. A games alcove, Murano chandeliers, wood paneling, Cordova leather wall, and hammered silver tables, all create an atmosphere mixing contemporary and old. The cuisine covers all of a Venetian map, where you can eat at any hour of the day. In the kitchen, the best of Italian cuisine (including Massimiliano Alajmo, one of the best young Italian chefs), offers a modern menu. From the steam pizza antipasti, risotto pink (fishing and ginger), through the cold spaghetti (garlic and chilli and tomato sauce Small dates) or apple cappuccino terra “alla bolognese” everything is a real treat to dessert with the inevitable tiramisu zabaglione revisited !

Don’t overlook the Italian coffee menu, which comes in all styles, flavors and mixtures. The best place for a break! No wonder this chic cafe attracts “beautiful people” and the movie stars who make reservations.
