The 68 is a restaurant with an unprecedented concept, born from the association between the acclaimed chef Guy Martin and Thierry Wasser, perfumer at Guerlain. A union which might seem suprising, and yet… In this restaurant, perfume and gastronomy are one : the well-known fragrances of the House Guerlain are sublimated within each meal, creating a one-of-a-kind menu.
Here, iconic fragrances, such as vanilla, are subtly elaborated into desserts such as the millefeuille with vanilla ice cream from Madagascar and its homemade praline. It’s also impossible to resist to the delicious steamed sea bass with mussels with caramelized salsify and spinach with cream, which evokes the delicate charm of the perfume House known for its Petite Robe Noire or for the perfume Shalimar.
All these savors are magnified by the wines – which are all recommended with care by a professional team –, and by the restaurant’s decor – so Guerlain ! Beautiful backlit windows convey a feeling of brightness, while the screen printed tables reinforce the delicate and refined style of the House. An excellent surprise for every admirer of fine gastronomy… and of perfume !
